Hosted by the Hong Kong Playground Association, the "Chill and Relax Festival 2026" will be held at The Mills Fabrica (Mill Six) on 16-17 May 2026. The second edition of the Relaxation Festival takes "Remold and Weave Together" as its theme, offering a diverse range of interactive activities and experiences to help the public unwind and reconnect with themselves amidst their busy lives, gradually weaving a more stable state of mind and body.
In the fast-paced city of Hong Kong, mental health has become an increasingly important social issue in recent years. This event aims to provide the public with a stress-relieving space in a relaxed and interesting format. Through participation, attendees can rediscover the value and importance of relaxation.
In recent years, numerous studies have shown that giving the brain a timely "break" can help restore focus and emotional stability. "Doing nothing" or zoning out is not a waste of time, but rather an important way to regulate one's mental and physical state. This year's Relaxation Festival once again features the popular "Do-Nothing Competition", allowing participants to officially do nothing, zone out, and release stress, experiencing the power of slowing down.

1) Do-Nothing Competition
As a focal activity, this year's "Do-Nothing Competition" has partnered with Eco-Greenergy, an environmental social enterprise, to upcycle recycled flour bags into limited-edition "Chill Mats". Participants can sit on these mats to fully zone out and unwind, savoring this slow moment; they can also take the mats home to extend the "chill" feeling. Additionally, the competition features a special award for the "Most Creative Do-Nothing Style", encouraging participants to showcase their creative styles and add to the fun.
Competition Time: 16 May (Saturday) | 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Registration Fee: HK$50 per participant
Awards: Champions, 1st Runners-up, and 2nd Runners-up, with one winner for each; "Most Creative Do-Nothing Style" Award with three winners; Staff will measure and record participants' heart rates, and the participant with the most stable and least variable average heart rate will be the winner.
*Participants will receive ten HK$10 POLIS cash vouchers and one coupon for facilities rental at the Wan Chai Ocean Shinkansen Water Sports Center (subject to terms and conditions)

2) Mental Health Themed Booths and Exhibition Area

The connections from "individual to group" convey that emotions should not be isolated but rather embraced and understood.
Opening Hours: 16-17 May (Saturday and Sunday) | 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
3) Mental Health Workshops
Through hands-on creation and interactive experiences, the workshops allow participants to temporarily set aside their daily routines and focus on the present moment. During the creative process, they can slowly organize their thoughts, release emotions, and rediscover inner peace and concentration.
Experience Time: 17 May (Sunday) | 11:30 AM - 6:30 PM
Registration Fee: HK$50 per participant (as a deposit, which will be refunded upon completion of the activity)
